These pages are from the correspondence lessons of the art school I learned from. I cannot tell you the amount of times I tried to brush the lines around the face of the characters with the same clarity and energy!

Incredible pieces of art. I wonder if Pratt was influenced by Milton Caniff. The inking certainly reminds me of Steve Canyon

Yes, he was, they knew each other personally. I consider them equals. Pratt often spoke of great admiration for Will Gould, author of Red Barry.
