Chasin' the Bird

A few minutes ago this jewel of a book of drawings by the marvelous Hermenegildo "Menchi" Sábat arrived by courier. It is about Charlie Paker and is called "El Pájaro Murió de Risa" (The Bird Died of Laughter). Loads of great drawings and some text in Spanish. Highly recommendable!

More drawings by Ciupiak sent by Gabriela Berardi. They are photos of his pencil originals, some of these are slightly out of focus but they are very rare to find anyway and I prefer to post them. Soon I'll scan some reproductions of works he made for magazines in the 1980's. Keep watching this space.

Aqui van mas dibujos del Bebe enviados por Graciela Berardi. Graciela cuenta que ademas de otras cosas, el Bebe tiene dificultades con un ojo pues una macula le impide ver suficientemente bien (!). Estas son fotos de los originales a lapiz y algunas estan un poquitito fuera de foco.
